Junior ANAPLAN Model Builder FP&A – Zurich North America Focus
Join our strong Planning & Performance team (PPM) and take the opportunity to work with leading Business Performance specialists at Group level and in Bratislava. You will work closely with central and local Finance teams on financial forecasting and planning of Zurich Group KPIs across all segments, i.e., Life, P&C, and Farmers.
You will be part of a newly formed team responsible for the development of financial models in ANAPLAN used for monthly forecasting and planning on a global scale, as well as their implementation within Zurich-operated countries.

Your role
As a Junior Anaplan Model Builder, your skills and experience will ideally include:
- Support the development and enhancement of financial forecasting models in Anaplan, with guidance from senior team members
- Assist in translating business requirements into structured modelling solutions
- Contribute to the creation of clear views and dashboards for key financial KPIs
- Support the analysis of spreadsheet-based financial models from Business Units and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements
- Perform data manipulation, validation, and transformation on datasets under supervision
- Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding
Your Skills and Experience
As a Junior Anaplan Model Builder, your skills and experience will ideally include:
- Basic or initial experience with Anaplan (model building or exposure to Anaplan concepts) is preferred; willingness to learn is essential
- Good financial literacy, with understanding of key financial statements, KPIs, and business drivers (insurance knowledge is an advantage)
- Strong data handling skills, including data manipulation and validation (e.g., Excel, working with datasets)
- Ability to understand business requirements and support their translation into structured modelling solutions
- Strong analytical thinking, with attention to detail and data accuracy
- Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across countries and functions
- Experience (or strong interest) in working in an international environment and cross-functional teams
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
We offer
Compensation for roles at Zurich depends on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific role, skill set, level of experience, and subject to applicable law. Zurich thus provides a range of compensation aligned to internal job architecture and market benchmarks to ensure fair and consistent pay for comparable roles.
The starting base salary for this position is 2500 EUR/ Gross.
